Filming Weddings at Kildare Venues
Some of the venues we film at in Kildare.
Kilkea Castle, Castledermot
One of the oldest inhabited castles in Ireland, set on its own estate in open parkland south of Castledermot. The open ground around it suits wide establishing shots, and drone footage is included in our two-videographer package subject to weather and venue permission.
Killashee House, Naas
A Victorian house on the edge of Naas with formal gardens, a well-known staircase and a ballroom that takes large numbers. Ceremony coverage here uses our standard multi-camera setup.
The K Club, Straffan
Straffan House sits on a large estate on the River Liffey, with high-ceilinged reception rooms and long formal approaches to the house.
We are based in Portarlington, Co. Laois, and travel throughout Ireland. Kildare is one of the counties we film in regularly, and we have produced more than 1,500 wedding films since 1985.

Ted and Mark were amazing on our wedding day. From speaking to Ted at half 9 at night during our first phone call, we knew Ted was dedicated to his work. While Ted came to my house while we were getting ready, Mark was down in the church videoing the boys arriving and the church before guests arrived. While we headed over to the photoshoot with Ted, Mark was at the reception videoing our guests. Both videographers worked great with our photographer and kept the vibes fun but calm. While we were eating our meal, Ted had sent us over a short recap of the day. This amazed us as it wasn't even half 8 into the night. It was so much fun looking at this video while we ate our main course. We couldn't recommend Lawlors Memories enough and cannot wait to see what our videos will look like.
